I wished to win a YouTube giveaway. It ended today and I didn't win. I don't know why because I thought about my wish every day and believed it would happen. What did I do wrong?

There is too much luck involved in giveaways, it's a bit like wishing to win the lottery. Just wish to get the thing that is being given away instead.
